The left is a painting done in 1563 of the Tower of Babel, by Pieter Brueghel the Elder, a Flemish Northern Renaissance Painter. On the right is a poster produced by the European Union symbolically depicting their mission. It combines the 12 stars of the EU flag with the rebuilding of the tower of Babel with the motto Europe: Many Tongues One Voice. Note also that the stars are shown as inverted pentagrams, an occult symbol. The crane is a symbol that this mission, the new tower of babel, is under construction and they believe that they will be successful this time around.
IS EUROPE THE NEW BABYLON?
Is Europe the woman of Revelation? Biblical Prophecies indicate that something resembling a Holy Roman Empire will be the dominant force in the world. Many interpretations indicate that Europe is a very likely candidate to fulfil this role. Certainly if we put together many symbols associated with the European Union (EU) it is difficult not to appreciate the associations. Here we present just a few of those symbolisms:
